Show # 28 — Redneck Jeopardy

Part 1: How much do you know about Southern/Redneck/Confederate/Rebel trivia? See if you do better than Buck and Oscar in the first gosh-darn dagnubbit episode of Redneck Jeopardy. Part 2: In keeping with the southern theme, the gang discusses little-known facts about Tupelo, Mississippi’s own Elvis Presley. Yee-haw.

As a southerner, I missed most of those questions. I don’t feel your demographic really fits the average Southerner…not big podcast listeners I have learned.

Graceland…not very exciting. Definitely worth a visit though. The best part of the tour of his house was everyone freaking out and being far too excited to see the bathroom where Elvis died, only to discover that you’re not actually allowed upstairs. I think my tour group was very depressed and ruined the rest of the tour when the little audio-tour-guide-walkman told us that. Luckily we went to Beale Street afterwards and that lifted out spirits though.

No access to the King’s throne? Lame. It’s not like anyone else is using it.
