I went to that show and found the comedian you maligned to be hilarious. His act was very “meta”, I must say. I feel your opinions on his material must stem from jealousy of how far forward thinking his performance was. His presentation of the desperate L.A. resident trying to break into the industry was filled with irony. I could easily see him opening for Jeff Dunnum or Carlos Mencia.
